Nice to see you again! Join in the discussion!

Today’s writing tip is about staying motivated and avoiding the dreaded writer’s block. There’s one certain way you can prosper as a writer–stay prolific by writing. There is one sure path to success and that is by keeping your writing fun.

Many of you have or have dreams of ditching your day job. Why not? Who wants to work making someone else money when you can reap the profits? Funny, how long it takes some of us–myself included–to realize this basic fact. Go in business for yourself, and you profit, albeit assuming the risks.

Writing can be difficult if you don’t know your topic well or don’t care about it. Don’t write what you know because someone tells you that is the best way to write. Write what you know and love because that will keep you motivated.

Create the fictional world you want in your novels. Share your vision in your blog. Fight for your cause with your articles. Keeping your writing fun is the best writing tip you’ve ever read. Embrace it, do it.
