Nice to see you again! Join in the discussion!

It’s probably evident to you: the more you stay involved with books and reading, the better your writing is. You are at ease with words. Words don’t intimidate you. They are your friends, if you will.

As professionals, we have made demands on our time. Not only must we be comfortable with writing, but we need to be able to meet deadlines. One way writers can accomplish their goals is by educating themselves. We all know that to be healthy, you need to exercise. The same applies to our minds. We need to keep challenging our minds to stay mental fit.

So many opportunities exist today. You don’t have to break away from your day. Online education is available right at your computer. You can easily pursue an online degree. As writers, we learn discipline. Our livelihoods depend upon it. Unless an agent is keeping you on time, you are your own boss. You know how to manage your time.

If it’s been awhile since you’ve been in college, working from home is less intimidating. Those difficult graduate courses are not so bad when you’re in your comfy pants and have a pot of coffee brewing. If keeping your mental skills in tiptop shape is one of your goals, online learning offers endless possibilities.
