Nice to see you again! Join in the discussion!

ladder of knowledgeAs self-representing artists, we know that the demands on our time are many.  We have to wear many hats to keep our business going.  Knowledge is power and is the best way to take charge of you.

There’s no reason not to be educated about the resources you need.  Opportunities abound.  If you sell online, it behooves you to keep up with trends and news.  Challenges for selling online are constantly changing.

You can better prepare yourself for these obstacles by taking the time to learn.  Want to see a greater return on your Google Adwords?  Take their course.  Want to stay in the know about Internet happenings?  Subscribe to the Tech Republic newsletters.  They are a fantastic resource for breaking news that can affect you and your online presence.  What to take your technical knowledge to the supreme?  Take a MCSE Course.

The point is that resources are readily available to you.  As a self-representing artist, you must have a handle on minimizing distractions and being productive.  Learning has never been easier with all the online opportunities available to you.

It’s hard enough trying to sell, but to try and sell without knowing the Internet landscape is setting yourself up for unnecessary challenges.  The latest Twitter phishing attacks illustrate as much.  Take the time to invest in your future.  Take charge of you.  Photo by degreezero2000, flickr
