Quick Exercise Moves for Writing Breaks
It’s probably a common bane among writers. We push ourselves more than any boss ever did. We work hard and often without breaks to make more money. We sometimes forget that quick exercise moves for writing breaks can make a big difference.
I decided that I needed to add some variety to my routine. I have been writing regularly, but my fitness level was suffering because of it. It can be hard to take longer breaks, especially when your mojo is working and the words are flowing. That’s when I decided to incorporate mini exercise routines into my day.
I decided to follow three simple programs that would include effective exercises which I could use as break during my day. With only a few minutes, I am able to get a mini workout in and glean the additional benefit of moving around. Here is my plan.
I am following the 100 Push Ups program for one. I regret to say that my initial test put me in the poor category. I’m starting slowly to build my upper body strength. I am also following the 200 Sit Ups program. Core strength is vital for balance and coordination. You can never have too much of either.
To target my lower body, it is the 8 Minutes to a Tight Ass routine. This one is the killer. My thighs are still screaming. Each of these routines is short, perfect for a break in between writing sessions.
I feel my energy level increasing. I welcome the change in activity. It has been a good way to break up my writing day with some welcome exercise. Maybe it can work for you as well.
Celebrate American Heritage
Today is a day worthy of celebration just like 4th of July or Flag Day. Today is a day which looks at the foundation of what is American. Welcome to National Constitution Day!
On this day, our forefathers signed the U.S. Constitution, giving us the framework for law and policy. It is a precious moment in U.S. history that all of us, citizens and leaders alike, should recognize. It is our moral duty as U.S. citizens to recognize the value of the Constitution and adhere to its principles.
As a mystery writer, the law is paramount. It is the foundation of my writing. The Constitution provides the framework of law and order in the United States. As a writer, I’ve come to appreciate law and the Constitution more. Today, I urge you to celebrate this most important of U.S. documents. It is the reason that America is great.
